December Holiday Meeting

Our annual holiday meeting was well attended, as evidenced by the wonderful food and the gift exchange participation.

But first, REMEMBER: January's meeting starts at our new time, 6:45pm.  We will decide the 2024 program.

First, the food!

Two tables worth!

The center table decor.

A tree and lovely skirt.

Quilty things under the tree.

Even a tiny Singer!

The competitive table decorations.

Four tables competed for best decorated, as voted by the attendees.
Janet Kime made the tree's ornaments.

The bears on the left sing carols.

The tree changes color.

All kinds of different stuffed animals.

The mug rug exchange.

Fourteen of us participated in this exchange.  Here they are, wrapped.

What was inside the wrappings.

This cushion came with the following mug rug.

This came with the cushion, above.

4 mug rugs

2 mug rugs

The following 4 mug rugs came together.  They are seasonally themed.

This is crocheted to look like an actual rug.

Note: the left needlepoint says "MUG RUG."

Show & Tell

Gail and Barbara brought their versions of previously presented blocks.

Ruth finished one of Roxanne Carter's patterns.

Sandra O. made this entirely from her stash.

Jean R. made this for her daughter.

Leslie turned leftovers into this quilt and might give to a friend's newborn.
