This was a well-attended meeting that featured a binding tutorial.
Show & Tell
Jean has two quilts
The second one is for donation and she didn't enjoy the partial seams required for these blocks.
Jean also made quick Easter treat holders for the neighborhood girls
Justine made this Roses quilt for a sick friend. Pinks are the fabrics she asked to be donated recently. The back is nice too.
Leslie just finished quilting and returned Sandra O's very large bird quilt.
Past BOM blocks
Barbara's Churn Dash
Sandra O's Twin Darts
Leslie's Twin Darts
Leslie's Churn Dash
Projects for the binding tutorial
Several of us brought the completed runner from the kits Leslie provided last month.
Barbara's table runner (she turned the flying geese scraps into pinwheels for the corners)
Sandra O's table runner
Sandra P's table runner (she turned the flying geese scraps into an outer border)
Marlene's table runner (she entirely substituted the green fabric)
Ruth's table runner / wall hanging, check out the fussy-cut, star-center gnomes. (She also entirely substituted the green fabric.)
Lydia's 6 placemats (she didn't enjoy the curved seams). The green one is finished with a multi-colored binding.
Jean's project for binding has been waiting awhile; it's leftover from a Quilting Loft project!
Gail's has been waiting, too.
