We enjoyed tea, projects, and of course Show & Tell!
Marlene created a wonderfully masculine quilt for her son.
Deanna took a class in fussy cutting landscapes 17 years ago. It's finally quilted.
Jean made this and some other Mariner compasses using Robin Ruth's strip piecing method.
Hope brought a charity quilt for donation. [All that sunshine behind her really yellowed the picture.]
The current state of Sandra's needle-turn appliqué obsession.
Sandra also showed the results of her first experience with Shout Color Catchers.
- ~4yds of dark purple prints in the washing machine
- a small piece of bleached muslin
- 1 Color Catcher
- warm wash
Color catcher on top; one of the purple fabrics beneath it; the still-white muslin at bottom. |
There was no visible staining of the muslin. Amazing!
