Needle & I is meeting next Monday, 12/9, at 7:00 pm in the Blue Building, Phinney Ridge Community Center.
We will be having our holiday finger food potluck. Bring something to share--appetizers, small bites, desserts. We will also have a mug-rug exchange. Bring a set of four mug rugs, one for each season of the year, wrapped.
January will be our planning month for the next year. Bring your ideas--and a hand project to work on. We'll also be welcoming Terry and Jean R. to the steering committee--and Sue, Lisa and I will be stepping down. We still need one more steering committee member to step up. The time commitment is really very small--and it is a great opportunity to give back to Needle & I and to get to know some of the members better.
A thank you to Jean S. for bringing a project idea (and kits and patterns) to our last meeting. It was really fun and quite a few people finished their project during the meeting.
Fabric and patterns were handed out at the last meeting for the challenge quilts. I still have 3 spots open if anyone else would like to join. The cost is $5 and the quilt needs to be done for the March meeting--so you have lots of time still.
