Charity Quilts Event

We had a very successful evening prepping kits, sewing tops, and quilting tops that we brought, all for a good cause.






 And there were even a couple of Featherweights to admire!

Next Up!

Reminder--we are meeting on January 14 at 7:00 at the Phinney Ridge Community Center, Blue building.

At this meeting, we will have a sew in to make blankets for Children's Hospital.

Blankets for Children's:

It is YOUR choice what you want to do.   Remember this is our ONE charity event for the year.  Let’s all pull together and make it work for a great donation.
We have a need for baby/infant size. That is approximately 36” x WOF (38-42”)

Plan on bringing one of the following:

  1. a machine to sew blocks together
  2. cutting mat and cutters
  3. quilt that needs finishing
  4. donation of kids fabrics, please cut to one yard or less.
  5. help putting complete quilt packs together.
  6. Completed quilt or complete quilt pack—that means pattern, pre-cut fabric and backing. All in ONE zipbag.
  7. An easy, simple, quilt pattern. 

**Items to be provided-
Door prize
Flannel for backing.   It will be pre-cut in 36-38” x WOF   
Labels, to be ironed on by Lydia.
A snack provided by Cathie and Lydia

Dues:
Also, Dues are due on or before the February meeting. $40 dues covers you for the whole year.  You can pay Lydia at the January meeting by check. Make payable to Needle and I Club.
